Obituary of Joan L. Jones

Joan Jones was born on June 20, 1936 in Burley, Idaho to William David Kelley and Gladys Evelyn (Stearman) Kelley. She graduated from Meridian High School in 1955.

When asked by her oldest grandson what her greatest accomplishment was, she replied “going to college and getting her teaching and nursing credentials." She taught Montessori preschool and elementary school. Then went on to nursing where she was a C.N.A at the Veterans Hospital in Boise.

She was married to William C. Jones on October 20, 1957. They were married for 49 years.

Joan was an outdoorsy kinda lady. She loved the mountains, camping, gardening and animals. She was a wonderful artist as well. You could not find a kinder or gentler soul.

Her beautiful life was cherished by her two sons: Dennis Jones and Douglas (Tracy) Jones; daughter, Pam (Don) Henslee; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Doug Kelley; brother-in-law, Wayne Jones; two sister-in-laws: Kathy Jones and Donna Kelley; countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joan would like for everyone to know she has received a call confirming an appointment, one she cannot cancel. She must make an appearance and will not be coming back. She wants you to know she has no regrets in her life. She'd like all of her family to know that she loves you very much, and wants you to take care of yourselves until she sees you again.

How Lucky we are to have someone that makes saying" Until I see you again" so hard.

Until I see you Again Momma
