Obituary of Frances Louise Clayton

Frances Louise Clayton was born in Glendale, California on July 12, 1929 to Joseph and Lois Miller.  She left this world on October 2, 2021.

She completed high school and started college in California.  On March 5, 1949 Louise married Richard Clayton.  Their first home was in Lubbock, Texas where son, John, and daughter, Jean, were born.  Over time, the family made their home in Riverside, California where son, Joseph, was born.

After many happy years in Texas Louise moved to Idaho, her final home.

Louise was a devoted wife and mother, as well as a skilled homemaker.  She excelled at sewing, baking and gardening.  In her middle years she found employment at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, where she worked for more than 35 years.  Her dedication to helping others was exemplary and brought her much joy.

Louise is survived by her three children; her brother, Richard Miller; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She was also blessed with many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Barbara and brother, Joe.

Recitation of the Rosary will take place at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on October 11th at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s name to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 1500 E. Wright Street in Boise, Id 83706.
