Obituary of Brenda Ingalls

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Brenda A. Ingalls of Meridian Idaho, returned unexpectedly to our Lord and Savior on January 1, 2022.

Brenda was born to Stan and Glenna Boster on August 2, 1963 in Caldwell, Idaho the third of four children and the only girl.

Brenda spent her school years in Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, and Montana. After graduating high school in Lewistown, Montana Brenda and her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Ingalls eloped and moved to Bozeman, Montana. Chuck attended college and Brenda worked to support the family.  After Chuck graduated with his Master's degree in electrical engineering, the family moved to Boise, Idaho where Chuck began to work for Micron.

As a devoted mom, Brenda raised her two children, Gloria and Ben. Once they were older, she went to work for the West Ada School District. Brenda loved working with children and found her home as a school secretary for Chaparral Elementary School, and later, Paramount Elementary School.

Brenda blessed others throughout her life with her many talents. She was the quiet leader and the “go to” for everyone. She will always be known for her love of genealogy research, going for walks and playing cards with family and friends. Brenda loved to talk with new people, hear their stories, and learn more about them. One of Brenda’s greatest joys was being a grandma to Lacey, Luke and Oakley. She was also a faithful Christian member and volunteered/served diligently throughout her life.

Brenda and her soulmate Charles shared a lifetime of adventures and together raised two wonderful children. She is survived by her husband Charles Ingalls; Her two children, Gloria Ingalls-Colbert (Russell Colbert) and Benjamin Ingalls (Ashley Ingalls); Grandchildren Lacey Ingalls, Luke Ingalls and Oakley Colbert; Parents Stan and Glenna Boster; and siblings Brent Boster, Bruce Boster and Brian Boster.

Mom you will always be remembered for your deep love of family and for your love of others. You will be greatly missed every day and in every way. Till we meet again!!

The family will greet family and friends at a viewing and visitation, Tuesday January 11, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Accent Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 12 at 11:00 followed by a burial at the Meridian Cemetery. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be sent to the family at Accent Funeral Home.
