Obituary of Candy Hudson

Hudson, Candy, 79, of Boise, died Friday, December 31, at her home. Grave side services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 12:30 pm at Meridian Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Accent Funeral Home and Cremation, Meridian, Idaho from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

Candy was born in Cascade, Idaho on July 8, 1942, to Glen and Blanch Heavrin. Attending schools in Cascade, Orofino, Winchester, and Boise, Idaho. Candy is the  oldest of three and protector of all.

Candy met and married Harold Hudson in 1960. She and Harold had three children together: Chip, Rock, and Kari, and two step daughters: Geri Royer and Tami Hass. Candy and Harold lived in Boise, Eagle, and Meridian where they chose to raise their kids. Candy stayed home and helped with her and Harold’s electrical business until her children were raised. At that time she worked for Dr. Anderson as a dental assistant. Candy and Harold spent their retirement years in Yuma, Arizona until Harold’s passing in 2009.

Candy is survived by her kids: Chip (Vickie) Hudson, Rock (Joli) Hudson, and Kari (Kent) Wilson; two step daughters: Geri (Mark) Royer and Tami (John) Hass. She was blessed with seven grandkids: Charlie (James) Nutt, Brielle Hudson, Braxton Hudson, Tanner Nickerson, Macie Hudson, Katie French, and Chelsea McMillian; two great grandkids: Madison Nutt and Paisly Hudson. She is also survived by her brother, Chuck (Mary Ann) Heavrin; and sister, Cheri (Doug) Youngblood; sister-in-law, Janet Sherill, and her very dear friends Anita and Milo Schleifer and Tom and Evie Thibault.

Candy is proceeded in death by her husband, Harold Hudson; parents, Glen and Blanch Heavrin; great grandson, Arlo Gus Roble and numerous aunts and uncles. As well as father and mother-in-law, Neal and Inez Hudson and brother-in-law, Wes Sherill.
