Obituary of Ricardo Davis

Ricardo Davis, maintenance contractor and resident of Meridian Idaho, passed away on January 4^th, 2022 at his home from lung cancer. Ricardo is survived by his life-long partner, Dorothy Gutierrez, son Steven, daughter-in-law Jessica, and grandsons Bentley and Dominic.

Ricardo was born in Chicago, IL on October 8^th, 1938, to Pearl and William Davis. He was a loving partner, devoted father and adored his grandchildren. He was a servant leader who enjoyed helping others, going the extra mile to ensure everyone was happy. An avid Jazz music fan, Ricardo was also a singer and loved Christmas carols; he is known for belting out sounds in his car.  He found solace in fishing and spent hours visiting the many fishing holes around Boise. His friends will miss his famous sweet-potato pie and peach-cobbler. Ricardo took a lot of pride in his work as an artisan, refinishing furniture and as a handyman. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
