Obituary of James Frederick Blaisdell

James (Jim) Blaisdell, passed away on January 14, 2022 surrounded by family in his home after a week filled of love and celebration of his life. Jim is survived by his two children, Kayla and Jimmy Blaisdell, his partner and mother to his children, Kim Blaisdell, his two brothers, Dave Blaisdell and Phil Blaisdell, and many cousins and friends that were so special to him. 

Jim was born in Eugene, Oregon on February 15, 1961 to his parents James and Linda Blaisdell. He graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 1979 with some of his schooling years being in Wimbledon, England. In 1980, Jim enlisted in the Marines. He then attended Saddleback Community College and California State University of Fullerton and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting. 

Jim worked in a variety of jobs in the accounting field related to building materials and tools. He had a passion for his job and those he worked with. He enjoyed spending his time playing strategic games, camping, and spending time on the family property mining and building. He was a loved father, brother, son, husband, and friend to many. Everyone who knew him loved him and quickly fell in love with his humor and kindness. He is and will continue to be deeply loved and is already so missed. 

Although there will be no service, family will take his ashes to the family property per his request.
