Obituary of Jeanette Bauer

On February 1, 2022, Jeanette Ann Bauer, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 86. Jeanette was born on March 30, 1935, to John and Bertha Sanders at home in Ghent, Minnesota. Jeanette graduated from Roseburg High School in 1952. On October 17, 1953, Jeanette married her high school sweetheart at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Roseburg, Oregon. They moved to California in 1956. Janette returned to work in 1976 and worked as a bookkeeper. She retired as the Office Manager with the Idaho Barley Commission in 2000. Jeanette was a long-time member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boise where she participated in the music ministry for 31 years. Jeanette was a member of the Conference of Catholic Women. Bob and Jeanette enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family. They also belonged to the Father Dodgeson Pinochle Club.

 Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, Bob Bauer; children: Linda (Mark) Tholen, Karen Behne, John (Linda) Bauer, Sheila (Chris) Harris, Darlene Britton, Julie (Scott) Wilhelmi, Tom Bauer, as well as 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jeanette Is preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Sanders.

 In lieu of flowers please make contributions to St. Mark’s Food Bank, Knights of Columbus Charities, or Catholic Charities. Funeral Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home and Cremation in Meridian, Idaho. Service to be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, interment to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.
