Obituary of John Euel Sevier

John Euel Sevier Sr, born April 14, 1969, was taken from us too soon on May 1, 2022, by a sudden heart attack with his devoted wife, Kendra, by his side. Though his physical heart failed him, his loving heart left behind a beacon of light and many fond memories for all his loved ones to cherish. His positive and cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed but forever held close by all who knew him.

John is survived by his wife, Kendra Lange-Sevier; his children: Monica, Michelle, Catalina, Kaylee, John Jr., Chloe, and Sophie. Also, his mother, Patty; his father, Albert; his stepmother, Mary Ann; and many loving brothers and sisters.  John was joyfully welcomed home by his son, Max, who preceded him in death.

Although nothing brought John more pride than his beautiful children, he also took pride in his job at Rhino Metals as a powder coater and machine operator. His co-workers were more than just people he worked with; they were his friends.

His greatest passions in life, as we all know, were Nascar – go Chase Elliott! Also, his undying love for great music, the greatest being Gun N’ Roses. As John looks down on us with love, we can all take comfort in the fact that he finally sees that the earth is round…

John was a great man, outstanding father, and loving husband. We will miss him more than words can say, but he will live on in our hearts and memories until we meet him again.
