Obituary of Marina Marie Rodriguez

     Marina Marie Rodriguez, 65 years, of Fort Smith, AR gained her wings on July 5, 2022 in Meridan, ID.  She was born on Feburary 17, 1957 in Seattle, WA.  She was a graduate of Ozark High School in Ozark, AR and attended Arkansas Tech University.  She was an employee of El Chico Resturant for almost 30 years and was knows as the face of El Chico then worked at Choctaw Casino in Pocola, OK until her passing.  She loved spending time with her family, watching football was her passion and had a love for Alabama Crimson Tide.  She enjoyed watching her Mexican soap operas and her favorite color was purple.

    She was so very proud of her 3 daughters and grandkids and would always put them first.  She is survived by her fiance Mike Peak of Fort Smith, AR, daughter Veronica Henry of Fort Smith, AR, daughter Vannessa McDaniel of Fort Smith, AR, daughter Verrenna Coleman of Meridian, ID, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

     She is proceeded in death by her parents E.R. and Angelica Pierce. Funeral arrangements have been made with Accent Funeral Home in Meridian, ID.  Funeral mass will be held under the direction of Immaculate Conception Church located at 22 N. 13th Street in Fort Smith, AR on July 16, 2022.  Rosary will begin at 9:30 am, funeral mass beginning at 10am.  Those in attendance are asked to wear white or light in color in celebration of life per Marina's request.
