Obituary of Mark Lewis Raper

On September 16, 2022, Mark Lewis Raper left this world far too soon.

Mark grew up in Horseshoe Bend and has always had a love of the outdoors. His passions were camping, hunting, exploring, and the Boise State and Denver Broncos. But above all, he was a man of deep faith and immense love of family. He was easy to know and quick to laugh - and he always had a story to share about his many and varied adventures. He will be profoundly missed. 

Mark is survived by his wife, Kristine; children: Marnie, Dave and Peyton; brother, Doug Raper (Bonnie); and sister, Peggy Blackburn.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boise, Idaho at 4:30 pm on Friday, September 30. A graveside committal service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 1st at Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend. A recieption will follow the graveside service at the home of Mark and Kristine Raper.
