Obituary of TJ "Patches" Henington

TJ “Patches” Henington, 42, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away February 26, 2023 at his home, with his parents and girlfriend at his side, after a long, hard battle with cancer. TJ was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on April 21, 1980 to Dave and Joie Henington.

He spent his first years in Twin Falls before moving to Boise with his mom, as a young child. He attended grade school, West Jr. High, and graduated from Borah High school, all of Boise, where he excelled in sports, especially wrestling and football. He joined the military right after graduating, where he proudly served as a Marine for 4 years. He became an IT expert through the military with numerous Microsoft certifications. He worked for HP for many years before venturing out on his own in his own IT business. He was very successful in his own company, Idaho IT. He started working as a subcontractor for Gridiron IT, at S.E.C. (Security Exchange Commission) on September 12, 2022. He loved working with them and was very proud of working with them. They valued TJ and his work, and they thought very highly of him and wished they had worked with him much longer.

He has two sons that he loves to the moon and back, John David Henington 14 years old, born November 30, 2008 and Lucas Vladimir Henington, 11 years old, born July 12, 2011. He has always been so proud of his boys and fought so very hard to survive for them.

He loved to ride his motorcycle. TJ became a proud supporter of BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) on June 17, 2016 and BACA Chapter Vice President September 09, 2019, and BACA State Vice President July 31, 2021. He loved BACA and all his brother members. BACA was a very big part of TJ’s life that he highly valued and loved being involved with.

TJ loves our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He also loves spending time with his sons, his girlfriend Dez, Paul Schneider, hunting with his dad and family, fishing, and spending time with his many friends. He enjoyed a vacation to Alaska in 2019 for a fishing trip on the ocean with his mom and step dad. TJ always lived life to the fullest.  He is a unique person and loved by his family and numerous friends. We are all devastated to lose him, especially his mom, dad, step dad, girlfriend Deserae and his sons.

Your mom and dad are so very proud of you TJ, and we love you more than life itself. We will miss you dearly and we will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in our arms again. Be at peace with the angels, our very beloved son.

Love Mom and Dad.
