Obituary of Mark Heiner

     Mark R. Heiner, 62, Boise, Idaho passed away March 3, 2023.

     Mark was born in Ogden, Utah, to Rex and Dawna (Rogers) Heiner. He spent his childhood in Utah before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada as a teen. Mark was a trained chef and spent many years working in the field. While in Las Vegas he welcomed a son in 1984.

     In 1985, Mark returned to Utah to assist running the family business, Como Springs Resort, in Morgan.  Mark grew his family in 1987 with the addition of a step-daughter and daughter. Mark moved his family to Boise, Idaho in 1991 and worked at Micron technology until 2006, Home Depot from 2006 to 2010. In 2010 he returned to his culinary roots in the bakery at Albertsons until his death.

     Mark is survived by his children: Dustin Heiner of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tauna (Jason) Smith of Boise, ID and Chastity (Michael) Grace of Boise, ID; mother; brother; step-siblings; six grandchildren, and numerous cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
