Obituary of Sharon Marie Rebman

     Sharon “Sherry” Marie Rebman, 78, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 13, 2023 at Wellspring Health and Rehab of Cascadia in Nampa. She received amazing care and they did all they could to keep her comfortable in her last few months of life.

     Sherry was born July 11, 1944, in Nampa, Idaho to Clarence and Zola Clauson. They lived in Emmett until 1952, when they moved to Eagle. Later, in 1957, they moved to Meridian.

     She attended Meridian High School and graduated from Nampa Beauty College. In 1962, she married Donald Wayne Todd at Meridian Valley Shepherd, where Sherry would be a member for over 50 years. Together they had three children. They lived many places: Nampa, Couer d’Alene, Eugene, Pendleton, Star and Meridian. They were married 31 years.

     Sherry stayed home to be with her children while they were growing up. She babysat in her home and did lots of people’s hair at the kitchen table.

     After raising her three children, Sherry worked at Elmer’s Restaurant in many capacities. She washed dishes, was a hostess and even the cook. Sherry also operated two beauty shops at Valley View Retirement, Nursing and Rehab.

     On July 2, 1997, Sherry married Charles Rebman, a dear family friend. They resided in Payette, Idaho and then Ontario, Oregon. They were married for 17 years before he passed away in 2014.

    Sherry loved her family, God, people, the ocean, sunshine, camping and going to the family cabin. There, she spent lots of time with family, riding motorcycles and eating with family. Sherry enjoyed baking, especially for others. She loved taking care of people and was always very generous.

     Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Zola; and husband, Charles Rebman.

     She is survived by her children: Troy (Vicki) Todd, Roger (Leslie) Todd, Donette (Tim) Morgan; grandchildren: Jake Todd, Megan and Madison Morgan, Cassie and Chris Minear, and Sam (Joe) Moran; great grandchildren: Parkar, Josh, Penny and Tilly; brother, Larry (Barb) Clauson; and many amazing cousins, nieces and nephews.  

      A Celebration of Life will be held, April 25, 2023 at Kuna Church of the Nazarene at 1:00 P.M. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.
