Obituary of Claire M. Pitron

Claire M. Pitron

July 24, 1937 to December 28, 2023.

Born to Raynold and Fay Elrod in San Francisco, CA. Her family later moved to an 80 acre farm in Oregon where she spent many happy years riding horses with her Pappy. She married George Pitron in 1966 and they eventually settled in Princeton, Idaho on their 40 acre ranch. Claire was known for her love of animals and raised sheep, horses, cows, occasionally a pig or two, and chickens. She would spend hours in the barn taking care of her animals where she was the happiest.

George and Claire had a true love story and were rarely seen without each other. They built a beautiful life for their children, Kit Jones (deceased), Kim Spain, Kevin Jones, Georgie Pitron and Daniel Pitron. She is survived by her husband, George, her sister Christy Oetken, her children, eleven grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren. Claire is now with her beloved animals in heaven and her legacy will live on through her family. Funeral to be held at Meridian Friends Church on January 4 at 1:00 pm.
