Obituary of Bonnie Ree McKague

Bonnie Ree Stokes-McKague, passed away peacefully in Payette, Idaho with family by her side on April 1, 2024. She was born on December 10, 1938 to Francis Earl and Mary Ellen Stokes in Kansas City, Missouri.

She married Ronald McKague on February 17, 1961 in Flour Bluff, Texas before moving to Marsing, Idaho where they farmed for several years and had three children. Later on, they moved to Meridian where she opened a beauty salon called Revelation’s Salon.

Bonnie loved shopping, fishing with her friends, wintering in Arizona and playing slot machines. She was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and you would find her cheering for every football game loud and proud.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Francis, and Mary Ellen, and 9 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Ron; siblings: Ronnie and Terry; children: Ronda, Penny, Dale; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.

Graveside services will be held by her family in Marsing, Idaho at the Marsing Cemetery on Monday, April 8th at 2pm. Flowers can be sent to Accent Funeral Home in Meridian, ID.
