I met Shyrel threw my Daughter in law (Alissa Kellas), ECC and Scentsy. What a sweet, kind and most of all loving person. We shared our health problems, good and sometimes bad, encouraged each other, and laughed with each other.
The one of many memories of Shyrel that will stay with me forever is her Smile. She always greated me with that smile that truly showed the love that Jesus has for each and everyone of us.
I'm so sorry that I can't be there today at ECC to celebrate your life, but, I have tests to be done on my body. You totally knew my pain. You will truly be missed in all of our lives, but, I know we will see you again when Jesus calls us home, for a mighty beautiful reunion!
Please know my husband and I will keep your family in our daily prayers. Hugs to you all. I truly believe that your Wife, Mom, Grandmother, has been made all a new. Made well, no more pain, no more tears, etc. Please take comfort in that and know you can talk to Jesus when you miss her.
Love to you all,
In Christ
Kathleen Kellas

I have known Shyrel since I was 8 years old when my brother Norm started dating Shyrel. At that time I was shorter than Shyrel. As a Stoddard, it didn't take long, maybe a year and I grew taller than her. In Shyrel's fun, loving way she would joke with me and tell me I couldn't grow taller than her, then give me one of her big hugs. Despite growing signicantly taller than you Shyrel, I will always be your little brother. Thank you for your big hugs, for your unconditional love. Thank you for being there for my family. We will always be there for yours. Love, Troy and family.
Dearest Shyrel, marrying into this family has been such a blessing in my life and your beautiful smile, your acceptance, and love have been a big reason for this, and a precious joy in my life. The way you and Norman love each other is a beautiful example of marriage, friendship, and devotion that I admire and aspire to with my dearest love. The way your children love and treasure you, and the beautiful pure hearted people they are, are all tributes to the incredible mother you have been for them. I hope to be a mother like you. Being near you, it is impossible not to feel like the most important person in the world. Your bright spirit and tender heart are so similar to mom Stoddard (Arlene) that it brings tears to my eyes whenever I am around you and Norman. You share the same warmth, the same light, the same open heart. I love you so much! I miss you so much already. I will always cherish the time I was able to spend with you, and will always cherish your precious family. Give Lisa and Arlene big hugs for me in heaven, and kiss the baby boy that Troy and I lost. I anxiously await the day we all meet together again! Love, Melody

I knew Sheryl my entire life. She was the happiest person I ever knew. I have never seen her negative in anyway. I never saw her angry, mean or even negative toward anyone or about anything. Even on her dying bed she was positive, happy and at peace. Seeing her that way removed my fears of death.
Norm and Shyrel are the epitomy of true love. I know that the love they had for one another will transcend all time and space.
I jokingly asked her to reach out from the other side and do something. The last thing we talked about as I left last week was cats. Their families cats our cats (cats yuck) and right now as I type one of our cats is being overly loving like she has never been before. Lol. Maybe it's her.
I love you Shyrel. You will be missed. We will see you soon. Take care of my big bro from beyond the veil. He's kind of my hero. He is the reason I am the way I am today with the warped and brilliant imagination and all. Tell my mom, Lisa and the crew we love and miss them so much. Ok I'm shutting up now.

I remember traveling all over the US with Sheryl about a decade ago to do Scentsy booths at home shows. We had so much fun driving around and seeing new things. Her girls came with us on a road trip to California too. (Searching for pictures from this trip now! I'll send them to the family if I do!) No Scentsy event was complete without Shyrel! I always seeked her out and made sure to give a hug. Thinking of Shyrel brings a smile to my face everytime. She will be greatly missed!
